Nanotechitaly 2010 October 20 - 22, 2010, Venice

NanotechItaly 2010, is an International Conference jointly organised by AIRI/Nanotec IT, the National Research Council (CNR) and Veneto Nanotech, to highlight, with the contribution of the most important Italian players in the field and renowned experts from abroad, situation and perspectives of nanotechnology.

Comforted by the success of the past editions (Nanotec2008.it and Nanotec2009.it), the 2010 Conference will maintain its focus on application, with extended goals and contents. It aims to:

Give a comprehensive picture of nanotechnology activity, perspectives and needs in Italy;

Present the latest developments and trends at world level about research, applications and governance;

Foster a debate amongst representatives of industry, public research, the financial community and governmental bodies to promote the development of nanotechnologies and cooperation.

The responsible development of nanotechnologies will be a key theme of the Conference.

The agenda of the 3 days event will focus on:

NANOTECHNOLOGIES AND CHEMISTRY
NANOMATERIALS

Networking will be a key feature of the conference to promote research and industrial collaborations, technology transfer.

7th Micro & Nanotechnologies brokerage event

The Nano & Micro sector group of the Enterprise Europe Network are holding this brokerage event at the Micronora microtechnology trade fair in France.

The aim of this event is to encourage confidential meetings between technology developers and technology users in order to foster technical cooperation in the field of micro & nanotechnology. The brokerage event is the place to meet R&D partners in the heart of an industrial and highly specialized trade-fair. It is also a good opportunity for clusters to meet other European clusters.

The brokerage event offers you a unique opportunity to

International thematic seminar with Partnering brokerage event.

Organized by Technology Centre of the Academy of Sciences CR.

This one-day thematic seminar invites all key innovation actors such as academics, researchers, industrial entrepreneurs, policy-makers and decision-makers to network in order to exploit either undisclosed or untapped potential of nanotechnology and new materials to create sustainable alliances between material researchers and innovative industries and to create new business with widespread socio-economic impact.

Objectives:

• Encourage the extended participation of industrial partners in FP7 (incl. SMEs)

• Connect the research groups with system integrators, producers and end-users

• Benchmark ideas and proposals with experienced international research groups

• Raise awareness and increase participation of New Member States in the FP7

• Facilitate networking and building new partnerships for effective research projects

Originally set for the end of April this confernece as been rescheduled for December due to the the air traffic problems caused by the Volcanic ash.

Continuing the success in 2007 and 2008, the 3rd conference NANOSENS 2010 highlights latest developments in Nanosensors for Industrial applications

The Manufuture European Technology Platform usually organises a yearly Manufuture conference (see www.manufuture.org). This year instead of a separate conference, full support is being given to the European Industrial Technologies Conference.

The European Industrial Technologies Conference will address:

The need for innovation within European industry and major obstacles hindering innovation;
Future perspectives for industry with newly developed manufacturing technologies, materials and nanotechnologies;

The 3rd Nanotechnology International Forum

This Nanotechnology International Forum and exhibition will be held in Moscow in November 1-3, 2010. The organizer of the Forum is the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (RUSNANO).

There will be a series of plenary and section meetings, poster presentations, exhibition, panel discussions, press-conferences, seminars and lectures on different aspects of N&N will take place with the emphasis on their applied use. The Forum will not only encourage a successful knowledge and experience exchange between stakeholders in this area but also will give an additional impulse to the development of the Russian Nanoindustry.

The business part of the Forum will cover a wide range of topics: from international experience on forming the national innovative system to measures which should be taken to stimulate the development of financial, production and technical, information and educational infrastructure, support of the fundamental science, improvement in legislative basis. Special attention will be paid to prospects of using N&N in different areas - from electronics, medicine and biotechnology to machinery, oil and gas, chemical industry, regional development programs.

The Nanotechnology International Forum is one of the first steps towards creating a global platform for communications in Russia, where representatives of science and business will be able to discuss the practical themes of Nanotechnology development.
